Welcome to this year’s Dickens in the Valley Holiday Home Tour Hospitality Center at the Woodland Historic Train Museum! Pick up your tour wristband while enjoying a hot cup of coffee and holiday pastries in the general waiting room, where you can warm up by the coal-burning stove next to a beautifully decorated tree. Outside, candy canes line the walkway and two six-foot nutcrackers greet you at the entrance of this 1911 depot. Don't forget to give the outdoor train horn a toot! The festive spirit extends to the tracks, where the museum's historic Southern Pacific steam locomotive number 1233 sports a giant holiday wreath, and the 1942 caboose is open for tours. It’s a wonderful, nostalgic step back into holiday history—made possible by the museum's fantastic volunteers!

A 1916 historic gem of Old Woodland designed after the style of Bernard Maybeck, the Joule home has been cherished by just its second owners for 41 years. Christmas here arrives with reindeer on the roof, while natural light pours through glass-paned doors draped in traditional greenery. Inside, the formal living room echoes with musical history, showcasing a century-old grand piano, an antique organ, and an eight-foot flocked tree adorned with over 300 miniature, 23-karat gold Danbury Mint ornaments. Holiday cheer fills every corner, from a 40-year-old white winter village on the mantel to a second lit village in the butler's pantry. Nearby, an effortlessly sophisticated dining table set with gold-rimmed china leads into the kitchen, where festive baking utensils dangle merrily over window garlands, ready to share generations of holiday spirit.

Welcome to Jeff Morgan's Faria Park home, a 1991 build completely modernized in 2023 to celebrate Christmas in a big way. Outside, twinkling star lights highlight the architecture, while inside, sunlight pours into an expansive foyer filled with the fresh scent of eucalyptus, cedar, and magnolia garlands. The home beautifully balances sleek design with holiday nostalgia, boasting four distinct fireplaces—including a formal living room hearth framed by a grand piano and an adjacent outdoor space evoking a crisp Yosemite hike. Cozy touches like warm candles and plush faux furs fill the primary bedroom, leading to a whimsical kitchen packed with ceramic gingerbread decor. It is here that the family gathers on an oversized double chaise to stream movies, open gifts, and enjoy hot chocolate, offering a stunning blend of contemporary warmth and festive magic.

Welcome to "Lainey’s Bloom Haven Holiday," a stunning Meadowood home built in 2017 by contractor Tim Snow and transformed into a fragrant seasonal wonderland by his wife Elaine, a professional florist, and her sister Margie. Guests are greeted by front-step poinsettias and a crisp aroma of pine, eucalyptus, and forest florals woven into magnificent garlands throughout the home. Highlights include a stately 14-foot great room tree trimmed in Restoration Hardware ornaments, an all-white winter wonderland primary bedroom, and a unique travel tree adorned with symbols from a religious mission to Malawi. At the heart of their elegant celebrations—which bring together over 65 loved ones for a festive potluck—stands a 10-foot dining table dressed in gold-rimmed Lenox china and an elevated garland of pine cones and pomegranates.
Adding a special touch of holiday giving, the tour includes a silent auction for three of Elaine and Margie's spectacular, signature floral pieces, with bid sheets starting at $80 to directly benefit Friends of Meals on Wheels.

Bruce Mace, this private club has welcomed neighbors and golf legends alike beneath its grand, tree-lined fairways for over six decades. Visitors will be drawn in by the home's striking entrance and a glowing, light-filled layout that beckons you to explore from room to room. The tour seamlessly transitions from a uniquely designed dining room primed for a traditional holiday feast to an airy, inviting kitchen that serves as the heart of the home. Off the kitchen, the cozy "snug room" offers a perfect, intimate retreat to relax with a cup of cocoa. The magic continues outside, where guests can stroll through the beautiful backyard to enjoy the fountain, gardens, and festive seating areas, all set against scenic golf course views.

The tour highlights a unique collection of year-round design features and ornaments from the Hotel Del Coronado, a lively game room, and a warm, joyful kitchen. Having purchased the home nine years ago, the owners recently completed a full remodel of their kitchen, which flows into a dining room set for a celebratory feast.
